·       Chief of Staff, Colorado Senate: Served across two legislative sessions, anchoring the inner workings of state legislative leadership.

·       CEO, Colorado Concern: Directed advocacy, media relations, and political fundraising for an exclusive, invitation-only alliance of the state’s top 100 business executives.

·       Real Estate & Development Advocate: Served as Government Affairs Director for the Colorado Association of Homebuilders, and has actively represented the Homebuilders Association of Metropolitan Denver, the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs, and Colorado Springs Forward.

Mr. Mutch commands a diverse policy portfolio spanning heavily regulated sectors including oil and gas, water and natural resources, land use, transportation, healthcare, and international trade. He began his career in legislative affairs with the Montana State Legislature before spending years in Washington, D.C. working for the United States Senate and two Colorado members of the U.S. House of Representatives. His federal footprint also includes foreign government representation at an international consulting firm and lobbying for the U.S. clothing industry alongside global embassies and multinational brands.

CIVIC ENGAGEMENT & EDUCATION

Deeply invested in his community, Mr. Mutch is the Board Chairman for Action Colorado and serves on the board for National History Day in Colorado. His extensive civic footprint includes past board and volunteer service with Early Connections, Whiz Kids, National Jewish Hospital, Concerts for Kids, and the Bridge Project.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Montana and a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University’s School of Business and Public Management. He was honored as a member of The Colorado Statesman’s inaugural “50 for the Future” class.
