John Cassiani

John Cassiani moved to Colorado Springs in 1981 as National Sales Manager for Denver Equipment. He had been with the Envirotech Corporation for the ten years prior to that, as a Sales Engineer in Pittsburgh, a district Manager in Boston, and then as Corporate Sales Manager in Salt Lake City. After spending 3 years with Denver Equipment, John entered the Real Estate Development business and during those 26 years had developed apartments, office and retail centers, and residential single family developments. His most recent development was the Banning Lewis Ranch where he was the Vice President of Project Operations from 2005 until 2012. Just prior to taking on the Banning Lewis Ranch responsibility, John spent two years with the Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation as VP of Marketing and New Job Attraction. Since 2012, John has been consulting with several businesses in Colorado Springs.

In addition to his business background, John has been very involved in the Colorado Springs Community, serving as Director on many Boards, including Silver Key, the Sports Corporation, HBA, FCBC, Colorado College Business & Community Alliance, USOC Olympic Congress Committee, Cheyenne Mountain School District, Boys & Girls Club, Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers, Chamber of Commerce “BIG” group, EDC, was a graduate of the Pikes Peak Leadership class in 1991 and received a Community Trustee Award from that same group in 2003.

As a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, John earned a degree in Civil Engineering followed by a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering. He also has an Executive MBA from the University of Utah. John has been married 43 years and has two children and four grandchildren.

William Mutch

William Mutch has 20 years of political and government relations experience on Capitol Hill and representing some of America’s largest companies as a Federal lobbyist in Washington, D.C.   In Colorado, he assisted major Colorado employers with issues before the Colorado General Assembly for eight legislative sessions, served as legislative chief of staff for Colorado’s Senate President, and managed the statewide organization, Colorado Concern.  He also has experience in public finance and the capital markets as Vice President in the Denver office of Piper Jaffray and Company and wealth management with Morgan Stanley.   He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Montana and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University.
